PPS (Polyphenylene Sulfide)

Known as “plastic gold”, PPS is a high‑performance special engineering plastic. Core features: exceptional high‑temperature resistance with long‑term service temperature of 200‑240 °C and heat‑deflection temperature above 260 °C. It features outstanding chemical resistance, hardly soluble in any solvent below 200 °C and highly resistant to acid‑alkali corrosion. It is inherently flame‑retardant and achieves UL94‑V0 rating without extra flame‑retardant additives. It also possesses excellent dimensional stability (molding shrinkage ＜0.0025 %) and good electrical properties. Neat PPS resin is brittle, so modification with glass fiber or other fillers is normally required.
